Tohaco was founded in 2012 in Liessel, Brabant, by the three entrepreneurs Ton, Hans and Co. With the knowledge and skills from their own companies in the sectors, metal & engineering and transport, they joined forces to introduce an air-suspended trailer to the market. In 2012, the first air-suspended Tohaco was developed and in 2013, the first machine transporters and motorbike trailers were built in series. Soon, a number of customers and dealers saw the benefits of air suspension. In 2015, the company moved into its own premises in Liessel in the south-east of the Netherlands. Close to the important supply companies. The short lines of communication still allow us to work particularly efficiently and flexibly. Meanwhile, Tohaco trailers are built by a team of enthusiastic and well-trained employees, where quality is paramount.
Tohaco has its roots in a metal company and a transport company, two sectors in which innovation is very important to keep up with the times. Meanwhile, Tohaco has become a renowned name in the trailer world, manufacturer of fully independent air-suspended trailers. Tohaco trailers are manufactured in series and in a modular way. All metal parts such as chassis and suspension come from our own production. Cable box and wiring harness are produced in the immediate vicinity and the electronic air suspension system is produced in the Netherlands by VB-Airsuspension. Tohaco, made in Holland!
